Catherine
Catherine joined us as a volunteer in 2018, primarily working in the area of Mission and Identity. Her interest in writing and in learning about all aspects of Solidarity Bridge’s work has led her to expand her involvement into communications, grant writing, and delving into SB’s 20-year history for a series of blogs. Catherine joined our 2019 MSMT as communications coordinator and hopes to travel with us again to continue sharing the stories of SB’s patients and partners.
Pat
Pat has been an indispensable part of our logistics operations for many years. Our mission requires a constant flow of equipment and medical supplies to be transported from donors to our offices, and from our offices to the airport, and sometimes onto shipping containers. Pat is always ready to lend a hand, and his cargo van, to help with the logistical aspects of transporting equipment, supplies, and personnel. He has personally lifted and loaded hundreds of boxes, and made dozens of trips to the airport in service of our work in Bolivia.
Margaret
Margaret has truly been a blessing to Solidarity Bridge. She joined us as an occasional volunteer in 2011, helping to pack supplies and prepare our bulk mailings. But she quickly became indispensable in our office and took on a leadership role managing our donor database, helping with the planning of our annual gala, and becoming an expert on our medical supply inventory system. She has traveled to Bolivia four times and was named Volunteer of the Year in 2014. Margaret has been an important ambassador for Solidarity Bridge, inviting new people to join us as volunteers and supporters each year.
Marion
Marion has been volunteering with Solidarity Bridge for over ten years! She is the go-to person whenever we have bulk mailing and her speed, precision and positive attitude make her always fun to be with. You cannot help but have a smile on your face whenever she’s in the room. Thank you Marion, for all you do!
Vatsla
Vatsla is a super volunteer who is making a huge impact by using her background in Public Health to help Solidarity Bridge research more effective ways to work in Bolivia and accurately measure our impact there. Vatsla is a native of New Delhi and began volunteering her time in 2016, while her husband pursued his degree at the NU Kellogg School of Management. Today she and her family live in Indiana, but she remains a key volunteer, giving her time and expertise to help with the development of our metrics and other special projects.
